Zero Carbon Dorset continues to develop..
Over the coming months Zero Carbon Dorset is planning more events, more research, and more activity to help Dorset build back better, exploring how we can be more sustainable, more regenerative, more equal, more just.
To do this, we need more help, both voluntary and through commercial partners.
If you have a few hours a week or more to spare, we need help with all the following voluntary positions.
Project Planning and Management: agreeing and setting out our plans, liaising with other volunteers and partner organisations to ensure these are delivered, assisting with events and report production.
Social Media and Comms: developing and maintaining our social media presence, getting news in the wider media, developing mutually beneficial relationships with local citizen media, raising the profile of, and brining more people in to, the ZCD community.
Commercial and Funding: identifying and developing relationships with potential partners, identifying and securing grants and funding, developing relationships with the commercial sector.
Community Outreach: identifying and developing relationships with community groups across the county, promote ZCD to the wider community, develop and maintain stakeholder maps and support event management
Events Management: identifying and agreeing a series of webinars and face to face events, planning and organising the annual conference, assisting with promotion of events.
Research: analysing and developing local approaches in line with the Zero Carbon Britain report model; document vision statements for each dynamic, identify local actions, assess their impact and prepare news stories, support production of the Zero Carbon Dorset Report.
If you are interested in any of the above positions, or have another skill we haven’t listed that could be of help, please email [email protected] with the position you are interested in, a brief summary of any relevant experience you may have and an idea of the time commitment you are able to offer.
If you know a business or organisation that might be interested in sponsorship opportunities please email [email protected]
